Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Novograde, available at novograde.com ("Novograde", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Novograde.
Novograde is operated by ETI BOX FAMILY SRL, a company registered in Romania, Contact: office@novograde.com.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Novograde. By using the service you confirm that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
Accounts and sign-in are handled through our authentication provider, Clerk. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at office@novograde.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. The service
Novograde provides AI-assisted technical interview simulations. You select a role and level, answer a set of questions, and receive an automated scorecard with feedback. The service is intended as a practice and self-assessment tool. It is not a certification, a guarantee of interview or job outcomes, or professional/career advice, and scores are indicative only.
4. Credits and payment
Access to assessments is based on credits.
- Free credits. New accounts receive a limited number of free assessment credits (currently 3), provided once per account.
- Paid credits. Additional credits are sold in bundles (currently 10 assessment sessions for €19). Prices and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
- How credits are used. One credit is consumed when you start an assessment. Credits are tied to your account and are not transferable.
- Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Price changes. We may change prices and bundle sizes for future purchases; changes do not affect credits you have already bought.
Credits do not expire.
5. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.
Because Novograde provides digital content and services, you expressly agree at the time of purchase that we may begin providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that:
- once you use a credit (start an assessment), you lose your right of withdrawal for that consumed credit, which becomes non-refundable; and
- unused credits remain refundable within the 14-day period.

6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform or its scoring;
- resell, share, or commercially exploit access or credits without our consent;
- submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you have no right to share;
- attempt to access other users' data or our systems without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
We own the Novograde platform, its content, and its scoring system. You retain ownership of the answers and content you submit, and you grant us a limited license to process them in order to provide the service (including transmitting them to our AI processor for scoring). You may use your own scorecards for personal purposes.
8. AI processing and no warranty
Assessments are generated and scored using an AI model provided by Anthropic. Automated output can contain errors, omissions, or inconsistencies. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on your scorecard. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer. Where our liability is not excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that harms us or other users. Used credits are not refunded on termination for breach.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when published here; your continued use after changes means you accept them. Please check the effective date above.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
We aim to resolve disputes directly — please contact us first at office@novograde.com. EU consumers may also contact the competent national consumer-protection authority; in Romania this is the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) — anpc.ro.
